We are currently looking for additional counsellors throughout the UK.
The following qualifications and criteria are required by Morency Counsellors:
- To have membership of either the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), or the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- To have a minimum of a Diploma in Counselling with 450 hours of supervised counselling experience.
- Abide by the code of ethics of one of the above organisations.
- Have a minimum of two years post qualifying experience as a counsellor.
- Provide a supervisor reference verifying counsellor training and supervision rates.
- Attend regular supervision - one hour supervision for every 15 hours of counselling.
- Meet the BPS/BACP/UKCP requirements for on-going professional development.
- Have a professional liability insurance of £250,000 - £1,000000.
